Aug. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Brandon Berger, director of digital innovation at MDC Partners Inc., discusses the outlook for Visa Inc. and MasterCard Inc. in mobile marketing. AT&T Inc. and Verizon Wireless, the biggest U.S. mobile carriers, are planning a venture to displace credit and debit cards with smartphones, according to people with knowledge of the plan.
