Laura Thomas was born in New Jersey, which is a constant source of amusement for the Connecticut friends she grew up with. That said, they've been her best friends for 20 years, so she must appreciate their humor. She spent four blurry years at Cornell University, where she fancied herself a journalist. This directly led Laura to a slew of lowly, yet rewarding, jobs as a writer for the Bedford Eagle, Boston Globe, Washingtonian magazine and, ultimately, the Washington Post. After four years running around our nation's capital in heels as a society reporter, Laura flew the coup for New York City to seek her fortune. In a strange twist of fate, her fanaticism for eBay landed her a job in public relations. Ever since then, she's used her wiles on behalf of clients such as eBay, Target, American Express, CVS, Avon, W Hotels, Kwiat, Cynthia Steffe, L'Oreal Paris, Dove Chocolate, Fancast, HomeGoods, Bic, and many more.
