Mike Kasprow is the only offspring of two people who made a life for themselves someplace. He was born in a small something or other early on one weekday morning. His ambitions were always to be something. He went to schools, and did homework. He played hockey and guitar. He dated girls and sang in a choir. He stole a pack of candy cigarettes once, but is convinced that the statute of limitations has run out so he can cop to it. He is dictating this to me whilst picking raisins out of his bran muffin. The amazing thing, according to him, is that he always led an interactive life. He would see people and speak to them and they would, in most cases, respond by either running away or flailing about. Mike is the first member of his rock and roll band. Mike is screaming at his iPad for being so much better at most things than he is. He collects guitars, hides his report cards, and thinks differently...for example, he believes half-and-half cream is designed to thwart personal choice.
